Vasilis – Angelos Loizou

Vasilis graduated from Leicester University in 2010 and obtained an L.L.B (Hons). He then continued his studies at University of Nottingham and in 2011 he obtained an L.L.M. in Maritime Law. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2012 and joined the firm in 2016 after 4 years of practising law as an associate lawyer at a litigation firm in Larnaca.

His practise focuses on civil disputes with specialization in commercial and corporate litigation. He has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law and also deals with all matters regarding contract law and civil litigation.

Vasilis also has extensive knowledge as he has handled a series of complex cases concerning receivers appointed under the terms of floating charges and he regularly appears before the District Courts for matters regarding Receivers/Managers. He also drafts legal opinions on such legal matters.

His academic background has provided for him to deal with admiralty claims, ship and project finance, yacht leasing and shipping operation.
